Dr Hannah Whittall is a Clinical Psychologist experienced working with children, teenagers and adults with sleep concerns. Hannah completed her honours thesis in the area of adult insomnia, and a PhD in the area of infant sleep. Hannah completed specialised training through the former Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic located at Flinders University, and has been working in the private space for several years.

Hannah draws on various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy for insomnia (CBT-i), cognitive behaviour therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Hannah can support children and adults seeking support for:

  • Insomnia

  • Delayed Sleep Wake Phase Disorder

  • Advanced Sleep Wake Phase Disorder

Cancer-Related Distress

Dr Hannah Whittall has been working as a Clinical Psychologist supporting cancer patients in the public service over the past 5-years. Hannah understands the unique challenges experienced by cancer patients and their families.

Hannah can support cancer patients with the following concerns:

  • Depression

  • Fear of cancer recurrence

  • Fear of cancer progression

  • Sleep disturbance

  • Grief and loss
